Writing Progress

I’m on page 166 of my book. I started writing less than 2 weeks ago. I don’t know if this is good progress or not, but I work on my book every day. I sit at the kitchen table and just type and type. I periodically smoke cigarettes and constantly have a cup of coffee at my fingertips. This has my full attention for up to 4 hours at a time. I just know my story so well that I don’t have to reach for the next idea. This story tells itself. I really hope people read it once I share it fully.

I’m taking a small break from the storywriting. I’m making more coffee and I’m stretching my fingers. I’ve been at this for over 4 hours at this point. I just need to keep going for a bit longer today. My book is a little less than halfway done. I suspect it will be around 300 pages long when I’m done. Is that good for a first novel? I have no idea. I just can’t wait to finish it, print it, and start editing it by hand with a pen.

Also. It’s my mom’s birthday today! She’s working, which sucks. Yesterday I made a bunch of cupcakes, at her request, so she could take them to work today. It was so messy, but I had fun doing it. They weren’t from scratch or anything, I just like baking.

Anyways. I just had to write about the progress I’ve made in writing my book. That is all.
