Exceptional

That’s me. I’m lucky enough that one of my best friends is a professional photographer and I get to help her with projects. She is an amazing individual and she inspires me in many ways. She built her own business from the ground and from scratch. She’s inspired many copycats in town. She owns a boutique and a photography studio. Many others have come along and tried to copy what she does and they almost always fail. They don’t have the determination she has.

She has helped me many times. Whether it was helping me escape my crazy ex wife or listening to me freak about everything. We talk about how we’re a small girl gang. We really are. We support each other and we deeply believe in girl power. I have deep love and respect for her.

I’m lucky enough to have some incredible women in my life. My mom, Jess (with the boutique and photography), Jaqueline (my sister in law), Joanie (my mother in law), Jennae (an actress), Angie (an extraordinary mom). These women inspire me and lift me up. They have given me deep support throughout my breakdowns. They believe in me, but god knows why. They are nothing short of amazing.

I need female empowerment. The world needs female empowerment. I have a cousin and her daughter that are intense activists. My cousin’s daughter had the great experience of punching a Nazi during a protest she was part of. I admire these women so much. I’m proud to be related to them. The are fearless and relentless in fighting for equal rights.

Speaking of family, I have witchy ancestors. Alice Nutter is my ancestor and she was hanged for being a witch in August of 1612 in Pendle, England. There’s a bronze statue of her in a shire somewhere in England. I think it would be quite the experience to visit it someday. I come from a long line of strong women. I wonder where my strength is?

My family has experienced extraordinary events going back many years. I think in a future blog post I’ll write about more of them. This post is just to share my face and give public thanks to the women who are pillars for me.
